    about about

    Aim

To preserve our traditional and cultural methods of cultivation thereby achieving all round social empowerment by promoting livelihood and sustainable community development initiatives in rural areas.

    Ideology

JSDA ideology ensembles environmental, cultural, social and economic sustainability of rural population of Rayalaseema region.

It is the economical and, specially, the social crisis those which have lead us to the environmental crisis. Capitalism, globalization, etc., have provoked that all societies around the globe have progressively imported the territory and society’s Anglo-Saxon model. The new imported collective urban conducts, not only they have been breaking social and cultural structures but relations between individuals.

In short, solution of the environmental problem not only has to do with the environment but, and above all, with the reconstruction of social and cultural tissues, as well as with economic stability that take into account the natural capital as one of the biggest values for the future.

Therefore, JSDA strongly believes that it is inevitably important to broaden the concept of sustainability to an ECONOMIC, SOCIAL AND CULTURAL point of view in the rural context.

    JSDA Objectives

To mobilize the rural communities to become pro-environment and develop sense of protection to rebuild ecological balance

To enhance land productivity through Eco-friendly agriculture with participative strategies and community based organisations

To promote activities targeting sustainable rural development, women empowerment, skill trainings and financial stability for the rural masses

To provide portable and safe drinking water to rural and urban areas, by maintaining Reverse Osmosis treated water plant and supply water

To partner with Government in implementation, capacity building and monitoring of all Government Projects in rural areas and urban areas
