Jeevana Sravanthi Drought Association (JSDA), has been working on development initiatives since 2007 in villages of Bukkapatnam, Puttaparthi, Kothacheruvu, Gorantla, Kadiri, Nallamada and Mudigubba Mandals of Anantapur District, Andhra Pradesh. JSDA, endeavours are focused on community development through participative strategies on environment protection, promoting community based social responsibility.
JSDA is brain child of Mr. Manjunatha Reddy – President JSDA. He emerged as a leader from a network member agency, striving for environment protection in Anantapur Dist. JSDA with its decade long direct interventions at the rural level, is establishing its identity in the region by contributing its share, while addressing critical issues like sustainable agriculture, sustainable livelihoods for women, portable and healthy drinking water, educating and organising rural labour to demand and receive their legislative rights.
